Florida parents whose children are born between Feb. 2 and Sept. 1 of a calendar year will soon have a new option when it comes to enrolling their children in Florida's free, Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) Education Program. Parents can enroll their children that year or wait until the following year when their child is 5 years old.
