School readiness providers selected for performance funding pilot.
The Office of Early Learning is in the process of notifying providers who have been selected to participate in the Early Learning Performance Funding Pilot project.
More than 1,100 child care providers who offer school readiness applied for the pilot, which required extending the time OEL and early learning coalitions needed to review applications.
That process is now complete and eligible providers are learning whether they have been randomly selected to be part of a pilot or comparison group. Both groups get compensation for participating. Providers in the pilot group can earn additional compensation based on improving school readiness outcomes for children.
Those who have not been selected will also begin receiving notification.
